Greaseproof and suitable for all kinds of food

Our french fries packaging can handle greasy and moist food, so you don’t have to worry about it getting soggy or leaking. Our products are either made of cardboard with a special grease barrier or coated with PE plastic, and we also have products that are produced without a PE plastic coating as standard but can be made with one. If your selected product is not coated as standard, ordering it with a PE coating is a good and safe choice for those serving extra wet food, such as french fries drenched in gravy, melted cheese or any other wet toppings.

We also offer the option of white or brown background paper on some of our products, such as our takeaway cones. The brown paper is most often chosen by businesses going for a natural and rustic look, while the white paper is easier to print a lot of colours on and is chosen by businesses who want a very bright and colorful design. Printing with CMYK and Pantone

Our products are printed with CMYK and Pantone color systems. We mainly use CMYK, but for our greaseproof paper and food paper, Pantone is the standard color system used. However, our greaseproof paper can also be printed with CMYK.

Printing with CMYK and Pantone each have their advantages, but the main difference between them is the accuracy of the final colors. CMYK combines cyan, magenta, yellow and black to create a wide range of colors, so when it comes to your design, that means you can include any color you want. As a big plus, you don't have to pay anything extra for each color, no matter how many you use! If the number of colors in your design is important, CMYK is ideal. On the other hand, if you don't want many colors, but rather a few very specific colors, you can be sure to get them with Pantone.

Is our french fry packaging environmentally friendly? 

Our products that are not coated or have a grease barrier are plastic-free, making them degradable in nature and recyclable with paper waste. But even if a product is plastic-free, we always encourage you to throw it in the residual waste bin rather than on the ground, so it can be disposed of in landfill.

On the other hand, products coated with PE are rarely recyclable or biodegradable as they are not accepted in most paper recycling streams and take a very long time to degrade in the environment. We always recommend that you contact your local recycling centre to find out how to dispose of PE coated products properly. 

We only work with manufacturers located in Europe. In addition to offering our customers low minimum orders and fast delivery times, we have chosen to do this primarily to reduce CO2 emissions during the transport of our products, as we want to have as small an impact on our environment as possible.
