Kraft or white? Handles or flat bottom?

Two quick decisions shape how your bag looks and works.

Kraft or white. Brown kraft gives you that natural, honest look and works beautifully with a one- or two-colour logo, this is the go-to for artisan bakeries, coffee shops and anyone leaning into an eco feel. White paper is the cleaner canvas: colours sit brighter on it, so it's the better pick for bold, full-colour designs or an all-over print. Both papers are recyclable, and kraft is the natural choice if sustainability is part of your story.

Print quality behaves differently depending on the base you choose. On brown kraft, one- and two-colour logos come out clean and confident, and white or light ink tends to pop hardest against the natural brown. Push past two colours and detail can start to soften, so kraft is at its best when your design is simple. White paper is the more forgiving surface for anything ambitious: full-colour photography, gradients or an all-over pattern all print sharper and truer to your original file. Neither is the "better" paper, it's a question of which look suits your brand and how detailed your artwork is.

Handles or flat bottom. Bags with handles are easy to carry and ideal for drinks, mixed orders and anything a customer walks off with. Flat-bottom (block-bottom) bags stand open on their own while you pack and have a sturdy base, which is why burger joints, grills and delis reach for them. Roll the top down and they keep food warmer on the way home, too.
