FAQ: Paper cups
Which printing method do you use for paper cups?
In our selection, you'll find paper cups printed with two different printing methods: offset-print and digital print. We print all our cups with CMYK-colors, which allows us to print all the colors of the rainbow. This means that you can choose and mix as many colors as you’d like for your design without it costing anything extra.
What is the delivery time?
We can deliver our paper cups in no more than 4 weeks to most of Europe. This is the free standard delivery time for our paper cups printed with offset printing, while our digitally printed paper cups have a free standard delivery time of 3 weeks. We also offer express delivery options at an added cost, and our express single wall paper cups with digital print can be delivered in as little as 2 weeks. So, if you have a tight deadline, please reach out to us so that we can find the best solution for you.
Alcohol and paper cups?
Most paper cups are actually not made to hold high concentrations of alcohol. It is rarely an issue with alcohol concentrations of less than 5%, but anything above that can drastically worsen the durability of a standard paper cup. We can make paper cups that are guaranteed to withstand a high alcohol concentration, so if this is something you need, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
What environmentally friendly solutions do you offer?
Our biodegradable single wall- and double wall paper cups, produced with biodegradable and recyclable materials only, is the most sustainable option available on the market. These paper cups have a water-based coating on the inside instead of a plastic coating, which not only means that they are fully degradable in nature, but also fully recyclable with paper waste. These cups are also marked with an ‘AAA’ label to indicate that they have an excellent recyclability of 95% and can be recycled in any standard recycling facilities if they are sorted out correctly.
Furthermore, our biodegradable paper cups can be made from FSC-certified paper at an added fee of 30 euro. Paper that is labelled with the FSC-certification comes from forests that are replanted and are generally responsibly managed.
On our standard paper cups, we can replace PE-plastic on the inside of the cups with a layer of PLA-plastic, which is a coating that is made from plant-based resources. While paper cups with this coating are biodegradable, they are not recyclable, and should be thrown in ordinary trash or industrial compost.
What is the difference between single and double wall?
Double wall paper cups have two layers of cardboard so that they are heat-resistant, whereas single wall paper cups have one layer of cardboard. You can still drink hot drinks from both types of paper cups, but we recommend using double wall cups as they are better insulated for keeping drinks hot.
Are there any requirements for the design files?
Please send us your design files in vector format or with at least 300 dpi in the pictures. It is also important that the design file is delivered in only CMYK-colors and in a high resolution. This way, you will help ensure a great print quality on your paper cups!
What is the minimum order quantity?
We have a minimum order quantity of 1.000 pcs. on our paper cups with logo.
What is the durability?
There is a minimums durability of 1 year. There is a higher risk of the paper cups cracking when they have been stored for more than a year.
FAQ: Ice cream cups
What is the printing method?
We print with offset print on all our ice cream cups. We use CMYK-colors to print with, which allows you to use as many colours as you would like without it costing anything extra.
What are the demands of the design file?
Please send us your design files in vector format or with at least 300 dpi in the pictures. It is also important that the design file is delivered in only CMYK-colors and in a high resolution. All of this will help ensure a great print quality on your ice cream cups!
With or without lid?
Our ice cream cups can be made both with and without lids. Our ice cream cups with lids come in two sizes; 300 ml and 480 ml, whereas our ice cream cups without lids come in five sizes; 100 ml, 150 ml, 200 ml, 300 ml and 400 ml. It is sometimes possible to find plastic lids that fit our ice cream cups without lids, but these lids cannot be printed.
Can the lids for ice cream cups be printed?
Yes, we are able to print the lids of our ice cream cups. They can be printed on the top and on the side - so you are able to fully customize our ice cream cups with print.
Can the ice cream cups be frozen?
The standard ice cream cups with matt surface can be frozen, but they are not as default to be used for freezing them down. We do not offer lids for our standard ice cream cups.
We have some ice cream containers with lids that are used for freezing them down and we offer lids to these. It is the size that we know and love from for example Ben&Jerry’s ice cream.
Are the ice cream cups degradable?
Our standard ice cream cups with and without lids are coated with a small layer of plastic inside the cups cannot degrade neither in nature nor can they degrade on landfills. They need to be taken to special degrading facilities, which are not very common. And as the ice cream cups are used for food, those facilities often won’t accept them because the cleaning process is very different for these than for other products. Ice cream cups are therefore normally burned as biofuel and used to produce energy.
Do you have an environmentally friendly solution for ice cream cups?
Yes, we offer biodegradable ice cream cups where the inner plastic-based coating has been switched out with a water-based dispersion coating layer, making the cups both recyclable and compostable. These ice cream cups come in 3 sizes (115 ml, 180 ml and 220 ml) and are produced with a glossy surface.
It is also possible to get a biodegradable version of the ice cream cup that is available in 5 sizes. The surface of this ice cream cup is matte, just like the standard version of it.
The main difference between these cups are their sizes, surfaces and delivery times.
What is the delivery time?
We work with two different manufacturers, which each offer different delivery times on their ice cream cups.
The standard delivery time for our matte ice cream cups and ice cream containers is 7 weeks. The standard delivery time for our biodegradable ice cream cups is 4 weeks.
We are often able to offer express delivery on the ice cream cups, so if you have a specific deadline for your ice cream cups, please talk to your contact person about the specific date.
What is the minimum order quantity?
The minimum order quantity for our standard ice cream cups both with and without lids is 1.000 pcs.
The minimum order quantity for our biodegradable ice cream cups is 750 pcs. depending on the wanted size.
What is the durability?
The minimum durability is 1 year. When the durability period is over, the ice cream cups have a higher chance of starting to leak.
FAQ: Plastic cups
What are the printing methods?
We work with two different manufacturers of plastic cups. We print the simple printed plastic cups with tampon print, that is primarily used for printing on convex surfaces. Our plastic cups with simple print can be printed with up one Pantone colour. The other plastic cups we offer are plastic cups with up to a 6 colour print, and these are printed with offset print.
What are the delivery times?
Our plastic cups with simple print can be delivered in 4-5 weeks. We can deliver plastic cups with 6 colour print in 10-16 weeks.
What is the minimum order quantity?
Our plastic cups with simple print have a MOQ of 1.000 pcs. Our plastic cups with up to 6 print colors have a MOQ of 5.000 pcs. If you have a very complex design and need 6 colours in it we have a minimum order quantity of 10.000 pcs.
What are the demands of the design file?
The demands for design file are that the colours need to be Pantone colours, and we need the design file in a high resolution.
What is the durability of the plastic cups?
The durability is 1.5 year as the plastic cups are made of PET-plastic.
Can you make plastic cups with recycled plastic?
We can make plastic cups with print in 100% recycled plastic, but we have a minimum order quantity of 100.000 pcs. – all of our plastic cups are however made of 50% recycled plastic.
Do you have an environmentally friendly solution?
We can make biodegradable and compostable plastic cups. They have a minimum order quantity of 25.000 pcs.
FAQ: Paper straws
What is the printing method for our paper straws?
Our paper straws are flexo printed and can be printed with up to 2 Pantone colours at no added cost. We can print the straws with 6 different colors: black, white, green, blue, red and dark yellow.
The paper is printed before the straws are folded, which means your design will be all over the straws.
Are our paper straws compostable?
Our flexo printed paper straws are made of 100% paper and food grade approved glue, which makes them compostable in nature. While it takes about 6 months for the straws to decompose in nature, we still encourage you to not throw it in nature, but in the trash. This way, it will degrade faster or might even be recycled if sent to the right recycling facilities.
What is the durability of the paper straws?
Since our paper straws are produced with thicker paper, they can withstand up to 2 hours in drinks without getting soggy. This of course also means that the taste of paper won't ruin your customer's experience.
What is the delivery time?
Our paper straws have a delivery time of 7 weeks.
What is the minimum order quantity?
The branded flexo printed paper straws have a minimum order quantity of 10.000 pcs.
FAQ: Food cups
How do we print on food cups?
We print all over the food cups with offset print as the method, and the colours used are CMYK colours. This means we can use as many colours in the design as you want, without any additional cost.
Can the lids of the food cups be printed?
The lids of the food cups can be printed on – both on the top and side of the lids.
Can food cups be used for both hot and cold foods?
The food cups can both be used for hot and cold food. The lids are great for keeping the food hot, especially if it needs to be transported. But the food cups can actually also be used for freezing food or soups, which is a great alternative if you would like your customers to be able to take the food home with them to keep.
What is the durability of food cups?
The durability of the food cups is one year after they have been produced. They are still able to be used after a year, but they can start leaking.
Can food cups be used for drinks/candy/alcohol?
The food cups are coated with a small layer of PE-plastic on the inside of both the cups and the lids. This means that they are able to be used for drinks and candy without it causing any issues. They can also be used for products that contain alcohol, but the quality of the cups can worsen if the alcohol concentration is over 5%.
What is the minimum order quantity?
The minimum order quantity is 1.000 pcs. for both the cups and lids.
What is the delivery time?
Our standard delivery time for food cups is 7 weeks after the design and payment is approved.
FAQ: Greaseproof paper
How do you print the greaseproof paper and food paper?
The greaseproof paper and the food paper are printed with two different methods. The greaseproof paper is printed with offset print and the colours used can both be Pantone and CMYK depending on how many colours you would like in the design. The food paper is printed with flexo-print, which is also the reason why we save the printing plates for the next print job. The colours used for food paper are Pantone colours, but we can use CMYK colours in special cases.
Can I get print on both sides of the paper?
Both the food paper and greaseproof paper can only be printed on one side because the other side is made for holding the food. But the print is reflected on the other side because the paper is rather thin.
Do the food and greaseproof paper contain fluorinated substances?
Our food paper and greaseproof paper are made without fluorinated substances. The food paper is coated with plastic and the greaseproof paper is made with food-safe paper. We do also have signed documents from our manufacturers saying that our products do not contain fluorinated substances.
Can the greaseproof paper and food paper be made in other sizes?
Our greaseproof paper is always printed in the size 500x335 mm, but we offer free cuts so you can get as many smaller cuts out of that sheet as you want, as long as the minimum cuts are 10x10 cm.
We can also offer a double sized sheet of 500x700 mm for double the cost.
Food paper is printed in rolls and then cut to sheets. We offer our standard cuts 400x300 mm and 500x400 mm, but we are able to make them in smaller or larger sizes and will adjust pricing to how many kg you are getting. Write to us to get pricing on your specific cuts.
Do the food papers and greaseproof papers come in sheets?
The food and greaseproof paper normally come in sheets.
Can the food paper come in rolls instead?
We are able to make the food paper in rolls of either 100m, 200m or 250m if you would like to cut out the paper when it is supposed to be used. The width of the rolls can be customized, but we normally make them in 400mm width.
Can the paper be used for grills and be heated?
Our greaseproof paper can be used for grills or to be heated in other ways, as it is not coated with anything that can start melting. Our food paper cannot be used for grill or sort of heating, as it is coated with plastic which can start melting at high temperatures.
Can some of the paper be used for cheese?
Yes, our food paper can be used for packing cheese. We have helped several customers with getting their cheese wrapped in the paper without fluorinated substances - this is also one of the main purposes of getting the food paper in rolls rather than sheets.
What is the durability time of the paper?
Both the food paper and greaseproof paper have a minimum durability of 1 year. The ink on the paper will never start to dissolve, but the quality of the paper can be lowered in some special cases if used after 1 year. But it can still be used to serve sandwiches, burgers, cakes and other standard food without any issues.
Is the food paper and greaseproof paper degradable?
The greaseproof paper is not coated with plastic or any other materials that are not degradable in nature, so it is degradable in nature – but as it is not 100% paper and contains ink, we do recommend that it is thrown out as standard trash. As our food paper is coated with a thin layer of plastic to be able to hold greasy food better, it is degradable in nature.
Can the different types of paper be made as FSC certified?
We are able to make our greaseproof paper from FSC certified paper, but we have a minimum order quantity of 100.000 pcs. from our manufacturer of greaseproof paper. Our manufacturer of food paper does unfortunately not offer the opportunity of FSC certified paper.
What is the minimum order quantity?
The minimum order quantity is 1.000 pcs. for greaseproof paper and for food paper the minimum order quantity is 30.000 pcs. for 500x400mm, and 50.000 pcs for 400x300mm.
What is the delivery time of greaseproof- and food paper?
The delivery time of our greaseproof paper is 4 weeks as standard, but we can deliver it faster with express delivery services at an added cost. Our food paper has a standard delivery time of 9 weeks, but we can deliver it faster with express delivery services at an added cost.

How do you print on popcorn boxes?
We print our popcorn boxes with offset print, and we print the popcorn boxes with CMYK colours so you can get as many colours in the design as you want, without any additional costs.
Can you print on the bottom of the popcorn boxes?
We are able to print the popcorn boxes all over, which also means that they can be printed on the bottom.
Do you have larger sizes than 3L?
We do have sizes that are larger than 3L, we have the possibility to offer sizes up to 6L – but these sizes have a minimum order quantity of 10.000 pcs., as they are primarily used by cinemas, theatres and so on.
What is the difference between automatic and manual bottom?
The difference between automatic and manual bottom is that you do not have to fold the automatic bottom yourself, but the manual bottom you would need to fold yourself. It is not difficult to fold the popcorn boxes, but the automatic bottom allows you to save some time.
Are the popcorn boxes coated?
Our popcorn boxes are not coated with plastic or anything else – they are 100% made of paper. The surface is glossy which makes the paper feel more robust, and it makes the colours pop.

How do you print on the wet wipes?
The wet wipes are printed with Pantone colours and they can be printed using up to 4 different colours – the printing method used is flexo-print.
Are you able to print on the cloth napkin?
We cannot print on the napkin itself; we are only able to print on the packaging that the wipes come in.
Do you have other sizes than 60x100 mm?
We do offer other sizes than 60x100 mm, we can offer the sizes 50x120mm and 60x80mm as well. If you are looking for other sizes than the ones mentioned, please get in touch with us.
What is the size of the cloth napkin?
The cloth napkin is 140x200mm.
Are you able to make boxes with multiple wipes in?
We can unfortunately not make boxes with multiple wipes in. We are only able to make wet wipe packs with a single wipe inside.
Which fragrances can you offer?
We have three standard fragrances for our wet wipes. These are lemon, soap, and alcohol (70% alcohol). We do also have the opportunity to provide other fragrances such as aloe vera and mandarin, but due to customer demand we have chosen to keep the three fragrances mentioned above as our standard fragrances.
Do you make anti-bacterial wet wipes?
Our alcoholic wet wipes have not been tested as anti-bacterial, but as they consist of 70% alcohol there is a good chance they are.
What is the most common surface for the wet wipe packaging?
The most common surfaces for wet wipes are kraft, matt, and glossy. The most popular choice among our customers is the paper surface.

Yes, our noodle boxes can be produced with 295g plastic-free paper, but please note that the biodegradable version will have a matte surface instead of a glossy one. Without the plastic layer on the inside, the noodle boxes are both compostable and recyclable, but we still do not encourage you to throw them out in nature.

How are the bubble waffle cones printed?

Which size should I choose for my product?
All 3 sizes of bubble waffle cones are suitable for the same products, but it is important to note that the medium cones and small/large cones differ slightly from each other.
The small and large sizes come with two flaps on top, so that the cone can be closed to keep the meal warm. They also have perforated lines, which means part of the cone can be torn off.
The medium cones have a raised back to support the food.
Are the bubble waffle cones recyclable?
The bubble waffle cones are produced without a plastic layer on the inside, which makes them both recyclable and compostable in nature.
It is possible to produce them with a PE-coating, but then the bubble waffle cones would no longer be either recyclable or compostable.

What is the difference between our two types of salad bowls?
We work with two different manufacturers, which is why we offer two options for salad bowls.
Our standard salad bowl is available in 3 sizes: 750 ml, 1100 ml, and 1300 ml, while our alternative salad bowl is only available in the size 1300 ml. Our alternative salad bowls are not only a cheaper solution to our standard salad bowls, but also have a faster delivery time and a lower minimum order quantity.
Both our salad bowls come with a matte surface.
Are there lids available?
We offer transparent plastic lids for our salad bowls in the sizes 750 ml (150 mm) and 1100+ ml (180 mm). The 180 mm width plastic lids fit our 1100 ml and 1300 ml bowls.
Are the salad bowls suitable for hot food?
Yes, the salad bowls are suitable for hot food. But please note that the plastic lids can't handle more than 40 Celsius degrees, since there is a risk of them starting to melt.
Can the salad bowls be frozen?
Yes, both our salad bowls are suitable for freezing.
Are the salad bowls recyclable?
Both our salad bowls are coated with a thin layer of PE-plastic on the inside, which ensures that they won't start leaking. This coating unfortunately also makes the paper non-degradable, which means it cannot be degraded in special industrial facilities.
What is the delivery time?
The standard delivery time for our salad bowls in 3 sizes is 10 weeks, while the standard delivery time for our 1300 ml salad bowls is 5 weeks.
It is sometimes possible for us to deliver the paper bowls even faster, so if you have a tight deadline, you can always reach out to us, and we will find the best solution for you.

How are the sushi boxes printed?
We print our window sushi boxes with offset print and CMYK-colors, which lets you choose and combine an unlimited number of colors for your design without paying any extra cost.
Are the sushi boxes recyclable?
Our sushi boxes are produced with a PE-coating on the inside, which makes them able to contain cold and warm meals, but also keeps them from leaking. Can I get the sushi boxes in other sizes?
Yes, it is possible. The sushi boxes with windows come in two standard sizes: small (160 x 103 x 45 mm), and large (241 x 103 x 45 mm). However, we can also produce them in custom sizes, so feel free to reach out to us if you have any special size requests!

How are the napkins printed?
Our napkins are printed with flexo print and we print them with Pantone colours. You can include up to 2 standard Pantone colours, but if you want to include more colors in your design, this is also a possibility at higher minimum order quantities of 100.000 pcs.
What kind of paper are the napkins made of?
The paper is made of virgin fibres, which is why it is completely white, and is additionally chlorine-free. The paper is produced in Scandinavia.
Is it possible to get the napkins in other colors?
Yes, our standard napkins are white, but it is also possible to produce them in other colors, but this would require a higher minimum order quantity of 500.000 pcs.
What is the ink coverage?
The napkins have a maximum ink coverage of 30%, but we are able to produce them with a full ink coverage at minimum order quantities of 108.000 pcs.
Can the napkins be made as FSC-certified?
Yes, it is possible to make the napkins from FSC-certified paper at an added fee of 30 euro and a higher minimum order quantity of 50.000 pcs.
Can I get the napkins in other sizes?
Our napkins come in two standard sizes: 330 x 330 mm (also known as “lunch napkins), and 400 x 400 mm (also known as dinner napkins), but can also be produced in the size 250 x 250 mm. This size is however only available at orders from 100.000 pcs.
What is the delivery time?
