We also offer burger boxes that are fully customizable in size if you’re in need of specific dimensions. Our burger bags can also be produced in both smaller and larger sizes, and although they are produced with two sides open as standard, we can glue one side together. CMYK and Pantone

We use two different color systems for our burger packaging: CMYK and Pantone. The color systems vary from product to product, and while it is possible to print some products with both, some can only be printed with either CMYK or Pantone colors. Our burger boxes can only be printed with CMYK colors, while our food paper can only be printed with Pantone colors. However, our greaseproof paper can be printed with either Pantone or CMYK, depending on how many colors you want to include in your design.

The advantage of printing with CMYK colors is that you can have as many colors as you want for your design, whether it’s 3, 5 or more colors. And whatever the number of colors, you don’t have to worry about any extra costs as the price stays the same! On the other hand, if you want one or more very specific colors in your design, Pantone is the optimal choice. This color system is more accurate when it comes to the final color.

Offset printing and flexographic printing

Our burger packaging is printed with two different printing methods depending on the product: offset or flexo. Offset printing is one of the most used techniques when it comes to printing paper products and always ensures high-quality results. This process works by transferring printing plates with graphics to a rubber roller, which then applies the graphics to the product. Flexo printing operates with flexible printing plates that can be used for printing on many different materials including plastic and metal. These plates are very durable and can often be used for repeat orders. Our food paper is printed with flexo printing, and there is a one-time setup cost for the plates since they can be used for up to 5 years.

All products in our selection of burger packaging are made with greaseproof paper so that they can withstand grease. Products such as our food paper and burger bags come with a coating of PE-plastic as standard to make them extra resistant to grease and wetness without leaking or dissolving, while our burger boxes are produced without any coating. However, they can be produced with a PE-coating if desired. Our plastic-free burger packaging is both recyclable and compostable, and even though this means that it’s fully degradable in nature over time, we always encourage our customers to throw it in the waste bin! On the other hand, products with a PE-coating are neither recyclable or compostable.
